ABOUT ME
I always knew that when my youngest went off to college, I would move to Ventura and live by the ocean. After spending my teen years in the SFV, working downtown LA, and living in West Hollywood, I dreamed of joining my mom and sister, who have lived in the 805 for 30 years. In 2020, I finally made the move, fulfilling a long-held dream. Now, I spend my days appreciating the natural beauty, swimming in the ocean, and biking along the shore—truly happy to be surrounded by it all.
As a designer, I found my calling by working closely with real families and real homes, integrating design seamlessly into everyday life.
In 1995, when there were only three staging companies in the country, I decided to start my own in Nashville—Prix de Solde. For 17 years, I ran this full-service staging company, preparing an average of 100 homes per year for the market. Most of these homes were occupied by their owners, which taught me the importance of creating designs that harmonize with real life. This experience shaped me into a designer who is deeply sensitive to the balance between aesthetics and practicality.
In 2012, I sold my home staging business to focus on client-centered design. I believe a designer should be an advocate for their clients, prioritizing what truly makes them happy. To me, design is for everyone, and timeless design is the ultimate goal. I am passionate about creating spaces where people can flourish for years to come. Once we establish your vision, my job is to be a fierce protector of your wishes.
When asked about my style, I always respond, "Whatever my client’s style is." I love bringing my clients' visions to life, using nature and art as my guides to achieve deeply satisfying results.
Throughout my career, I’ve produced art shows, dance videos, worked in fashion, invented and patented an eyewear brand, designed charity events, and supported artists and craftsmen across the country. My work has taken me from New York office spaces to mid-century marvels in California.
At my core, I am a problem solver. I thrive under tight deadlines, embrace all colors, and celebrate individualistic thinking. And most importantly—I get stuff done!
